Albena Petrakov
Albena Petrakov received her J.D., cum laude, from Benjamin Cardozo School of Law and her Masters degree in law from Sofia University St. Kliment Ohridski in Sofia, Bulgaria. Her practice focuses on commercial litigation, bankruptcy, and corporate law. During law school, Albena interned with Judge Morris Stern of the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the District of New Jersey, at the New York City Law Department (Corporation Counsel), at Menaker & Herrmann and at the Cardozo Tax Clinic. Prior to enrolling at Cardozo, Albena worked as an attorney with a law firm in Sofia, Bulgaria, representing corporate clients on commercial litigation, tax and corporate matters from 2002 to 2006.
